Join us as we take flight This position is for an Established Program Management professional. Manages elements of small/medium programs and the negotiation of contracts, demonstrates continuous improvement, presents progress reports, and works to solve program problems. Primary Responsibilities Ensure that program plans, schedules and budgets are followed. Gathers and manages data to monitor program?s progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specifications. Prepares and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s). Demonstrates continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality. Identifies and escalates program problems and supports resolutions to ensure the successful completion of programs. Partners with various functional organizations to achieve alignment with customer program objectives. Provides expertise in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization?s interests. Directs all program phases from inception through completion. Interfaces with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion. Establishes cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets. Basic Qualifications : 3 years of experience in Business, Logistics, Finance, Program management, Materials, Operations or combined. 3 years of Experience with Microsoft Excel Experience with SAP Preferred Qualifications : Aerospace Experience Experience/ Knowledge of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) Ability to extract and Analyze Qualitative Data Ability to manage daily tasks and communicate status across organizational boundary Experience with Government contract execution Education: Bachelor?s degree or three years of prior relevant experience Due to federal regulation or contracting requirements, this position is only available to U.S. persons/US Citizen (pick one) .?At this time, Collins Aerospace will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
