RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Project Engineer (Chemistry) in Chandler, AZ. Summary: The Project Engineer is responsible for developing new technology and supporting existing technology to improve production, quality, profitability and safety. This individual will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, execution of projects and communicating project status to targeted timelines. This individual will also manage/assist in facility expansion/modifications. Key Tasks:
  • Support development of new technology, existing technology and existing production lines to improve quality, profitability and safety
  • Develop, execute and document project assignments in compliance with committed timelines and project goals, and per established governance policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines
  • Ensure technical and customer requirements for assigned projects are achieved
  • Develop and maintain required validation and project management documents
  • Conduct or participate in routine project reviews with Project Teams and Management
  • Coordinate engineering meetings with internal/external customers as well as support services, (suppliers and contract vendors) to facilitate the development and execution of assigned projects
  • Perform design work, layouts, sketches, concepts, etc. as needed for projects and/or plant layouts
  • Develop and/or review engineering change requests for modifications to processes, equipment and facilities
  • Identify energy savings opportunities and develop an implementation plan
  • Maintain awareness of technologies, codes, and specifications through conferences and seminars


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Engineering, Materials, Chemistry, or equivalent technical degree, or combination of schooling and years of experience in industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal and international regulations such as 21CFR Parts 210, 211, and 820
  • GLP and GMP experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software, and project management software such as Microsoft Projects
  • Working knowledge of 3D design applications
