LEAD INTERIOR DESIGNER

Lavish Interiors / Staging Furniture is a rapidly growing, national, interior design firm that specializes in interior design and home staging. We work with clients to design, then hand-select furnishings and accents before arranging them inside homes to accentuate the home s architectural features and tell a story so compelling no prospective homebuyer can resist it! At Lavish Interiors / Staging Furniture you get all the benefits of working with a luxury homebuilder but in a smaller, more friendly, and quite frankly more FUN, environment.

Who We re Looking For:

LEAD INTERIOR DESIGNER FOR OUR HOME OFFICE IN ARLINGTON, TEXAS.

Are you a degreed interior designer? We are in major growth mode right now and need brilliant interior designers to work with our clients in bringing their vision to life by complimenting the home s features with innovative design and bold furniture & accessories selections we want to create the WOW factor. It s no small task. Here are a few things we will be looking to you for:

Developing presentations, schemes and budgets for new projects
Creating floor plans, elevations and furniture designs in AutoCAD
Presenting design proposals to home staging clients, select product and accessories
Carry out purchasing and order tracking for multiple, concurrent projects
Communicate extensively with clients
Manage design team and warehouse personnel
Manage contractors, coordinate and oversee installations
Hire and train new design team personnel
Source fabrics, furniture, lighting, fixtures, tile, fittings and accessories
Travel to destination cities for design project installation
Travel locally for design and staging package installation(s)
Opportunity to travel nationally for design project installations
Travel required for yearly furniture markets
What You Bring:

Above all, you must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be working directly with our president as part of the design team in this growing segment of our business.

A design degree
Proficient in using CAD
Energetic, proactive, detail-oriented individual
Must be able to work independently with initiative and self-motivation
Proven leadership and effective communication skills
Where You ve Been:

For starters, you must have a design degree and have current experience with a design firm. Must be proficient with AutoCad. Travel is required.

Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
