Description POSITION SUMMARY Eligible for sales incentive (VICP). Sell products directly to terminating retirement plan participants. Influence participants to consolidate externally held retirement assets into rollover product at time of sale. Determine financial risk profile and investment objectives of participants through interrogative question and answer methodology. Assist participants in selecting investments according to their risk profile and investment objectives. Develop solutions for unique problems/opportunities required to complete the rollover sale. Manage participant relationship from lead handoff through close, increasing participant touch, satisfaction, and loyalty. Answer customer questions and concerns about retirement planning as necessary. Provide educational and marketing material for participants as necessary. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets RESPONSIBILITIES: Place outbound calls to and handle inbound calls from our participant base, with the objective of influencing participants’ decision to consolidate their retirement savings into a MM product. Demonstrate expertise in retirement investment vehicles, especially 401(k), 403(b) and IRA Provide exceptional service required for the administration of the rollover process, and develop solutions for unique problems/situations Service rollover relationship from opportunity handoff through close, increasing participant touch, satisfaction, and loyalty Answer customer questions and concerns about retirement planning as necessary Request educational and marketing material for participants as necessary Build team camaraderie and focus efforts toward a shared sales objective Thrive in a fast-paced, sales-oriented call center environment Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Active FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations Active resident State Life and Health Insurance license *New IRA Rollover Specialists who do not hold their resident state life and health insurance license are required to obtain the license at the employer’s expense within a pre-defined timeframe. Prior telephone experience preferred. Customer-focused, outward approach to delivery of retail sales opportunities Strong desire to meet the needs of internal and external customers • Desire to work as a team player and ability to contribute to a positive work environment Ability to work within a flexible call center schedule and environment Ability to learn quickly “on the job” Brokerage background desirable Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Handles projects or work with defined scope in own discipline and typically has a short-term focus Works with guidance on small-scale team/unit projects Solves problems in own specialty area Makes worthwhile improvements to existing programs, and procedures Makes practical suggestions for improving work processes in own area Works for consensus and contributes to achievement of work group goals Individual typically has at least 2-5 years of related experience Why Join Us.
